Dr. Prithika Chary is the first and only woman in India qualified and practicing as both a neurophysician and neurosurgeon. With a career spanning over 50 years, she has treated more than 25,000 patients and pioneered comprehensive epilepsy care in Chennai.
She founded EPICENTTRE in 1994, introduced the first video EEG in South India's private sector, and started the epilepsy surgery program at Apollo Hospitals in 1998. She is also a teacher, researcher, PhD guide, and sought-after speaker.
